Designer Kati Meyer-Brühl’s bench belami awarded the silver Focus Open 2013 as well as a German Design Award 2014 “Special Mention”.
The arm- and backless bench is the latest addition to brühl’s belami range, distinguished by an emphasis on sustainability, naturalness and outstandingly precise craftsmanship. Clear lines and minimalist shapes are combined with a luxuriously upholstered seat in an either button-tacked or smooth finish.

The Design Center Stuttgart’s Focus Open prize acknowledges the outstanding product design of the button-tacked bench. Every year, the German Design Council awards the German Design Award to exceptional products and projects in a range of categories, including home interiors.

Kati Meyer-Brühl has so far already won over forty renowned national and international awards over the course of a career that has only just begun. Her distinctive signature style is characterised by light-handedly executed designs and a focus on environmental compatibility, durability and clarity.
