During the Salone Internazionale del Mobile and the 2014 Milan Design Week, Richard Lampert will launch the new Mono step stool at Glam Hair & Design. The Milla high desk, first presented at IMM Cologne 2014, will also be on display in the “The Art of Living“ exhibition at the Triennale di Milano.
Milan is known as a city of beauty and fashion and, at the beginning of April each year, as a design mecca. For this year’s Milan Furniture Fair, Richard Lampert will present a beauty show of a very different kind: from 7 to 10 April 2014, the Stuttgart-based company will introduce its new Mono step stool at “Glam Hair & Design“, the hairdressing salon located in the same building as the legendary Bar Basso. Mono’s creator, the designer Steffen Kehrle, will present the step stool, which consists of a single plastic block, in a suitable setting in the salon’s shop windows.
Richard Lampert first presented his Milla high desk (designed by Alexander Seifried) at IMM Cologne 2014. During the 2014 Milan Design Week, Milla will be on display as part of the exhibition “The Art of Living“. A joint project by Italian magazine “Living Corriere della Sera“ and the Milan-based architectural practice Migliore+Servetto Architects, “The Art of Living“ will be presented from 8 to 27 April 2014 at the Triennale di Milano. Five Italian artists will highlight the relationship between contemporary art and contemporary design in ten different areas. Milla will be part of the installation developed by the artist Paolo Gonzate.
