The new designs “Banlieue“ and “Textile“ expand REUBER HENNING’s “As Simple As“ Series with its huge range of colours and possible combinations. For “Banlieue“, the label got in the way of the classic border. The design consisting of only one gestural brush stroke is very subtly highlighted by the wool and silk mix. “Banlieue“ is available in seven different colours. “Textile“, in contrast, means texture: The two-colour surface is reminiscent of linen. These rugs made of 100% wool are available in ten different colours.
The “As Simple As“ Series consists of monochromatic wool and silk rugs in different qualities and highlights the beauty of the hand-spun, hand-dyed Tibetan highland wool. Apart from “Banlieue“ and “Textile“, the series comprises the designs “Salt and Pepper“ and “Silk Mélange“. “Salt and Pepper“, made from 100% wool, is available in 20 colours, with a contrasting fringe. “Silk Mélange“, made of either 30% or 50% silk in combination with wool, is available in 50 colours. As all REUBER
HENNING rugs, the “As simple as“ Series is produced without resorting to any machine or chemical treatment.
