Richard Lampert will be presenting many new products and new additions to existing lines at IMM Cologne 2015
From 19 to 25 January 2015, at the Cologne furniture fair, Richard Lampert will be presenting his current collection characterized by subtle colours and fabrics: far removed from standard settings, a galactic environment will provide the backdrop for the collection, including a new children’s bed in the “Famille Garage“ line, new versions of the “Big Tom“ barstool, as well as a new stackable stool to join the Tom family and a stool with castors to match the “Mr. Square“ working chair. Furthermore, there will be new carpets, which were manufactured in Afghanistan as part of the “Papaver Somniferum“ project and were first presented at Designers’ Saturday 2014.
When angels dream: in 2011, Richard Lampert launched the “Richard Lampert Kids’ Collection“ at the IMM Cologne, including the Famille Garage furniture system by Alexander Seifried. The German designer created an intelligent furniture family that grows with your kid: when the baby changing unit is no longer needed, its top can be combined with a pair of trestles to become a children’s table. A matching bench completes the ensemble. The same flexibility goes for the new children’s bed in the Famille Garage line: at IMM Cologne 2015, Richard Lampert will be presenting a children’s bed in the Famille Garage style which can be used from infancy through to adolescence. When used for a baby, the height of the mattress can be adjusted and the rails can be removed. When the child grows, the high side panels can be removed to create a children’s bed for mattresses with a size of 70 x 120 cm. By extending the slatted frame, the bed can also fit mattresses with a size of
70 x 160 cm.
Mr. Square (Design: Peter Horn) has a new little brother: in 2014, the Mr. Square working chair received a modern look. With rounded corners, new colours and a gas spring version, this chair is a very contemporary piece of office furniture. In 2015,
Richard Lampert will be presenting a matching small stool called Mr. Round (Design: Alexander Seifried). Mr Round features a round seat (available in solid oak or with double layer upholstery), gas spring height adjustment and castors. The double layer upholstery version of Mr. Round is reminiscent of the Tom stool and table line (Design: Alexander Seifried).
The Big Tom barstool will also be presented with a solid oak seat and with painted frames whose colours match those of the other products in the Richard Lampert collection. A new stackable stool, again with a solid oak seat, will complement the
Tom Family. The freestanding Frame shelf (Design: Alexander Seifried) has received new structural elements that also come in various colours, sizes and materials, making Frame a real eye-catcher, not just at home but also in the office. For the latter, Frame is now also available with acoustic panels. The new Frame drawers and cabinets with doors can also be used with the famous Eiermann Shelf (Design:
Egon Eiermann), thus providing the option to create a consistent look when using both shelves together.
Also new: the Stijl table and bench ensemble (Design: Alexander Seifried) will be presented in a solid oak design and can be produced in customised sizes. Now available: Mono stepstool (Design: Steffen Kehrle) in graphite black, water blue and salmon orange.
